Expert | Dr. Stottmeier
Dr.
Stottmeier provides expert consultation on microbiological
contamination and public health issues especially regarding
infectious disease control.
Dr.
Stottmeier has over 35 years experience in microbiology
culminating as the Director, Medical Microbiology at
Boston City Hospital. He is currently a consultant
and expert witness in clinical and applied microbiology
and infectious diseases serving hospitals, the biotechnology
and pharmaceutical industries. A member of the
American Society for Microbiology, the American Society
of Clinical Pathologists and the Conference of American
Public Health Laboratory Directors, Kurt has over 39
scientific articles published in various professional
journals.
Dr. Stottmeier has B.S. and doctorate degrees from the
Universities of Hanover at Berlin, Germany and has been
an Associate Clinical Professor, Department of Microbiology,
Boston University School of Medicine and an Adjunct
Professor, Dept. of Microbiology, University of Rhode
Island.
